I looked for images of fall and this came up. I eat apples all year long, so I couldn’t figure out why apples represented fall. If anyone can tell me, that would be great!
WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO!
My novel, The Stories We Cannot Tell has now been out for two months and I’m so happy with the reviews. The book has already won six award. Four gold medals and two silver medals! The book is out in paperback and ebook and we are working on the audio book, so I will announce when that comes out. You can get the book anywhere books are sold, or if you’d like a signed book, visit my website and order one and I will sign it and send it to you.
BOOKCLUBS
I’ve been doing bookclubs for The Stories We Cannot Tell and they are so much fun! I love being there in person if they are close by, or if not, I zoom in. The novel has so many things to talk about, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like me to come to your book club!
BOOKS THAT I’VE READ DURING THE LAST MONTH AND LOVED!
I was honored to read an early copy of USA Today’s best selling author, Suzanne Simonetti’s, A Cape May Christmas Story: A Celebration of Family and Love in America's First Seaside Resort. The book will be out on October 10th and if you love Xmas stories, this is the one for you!

I also read Horse by pulitzer prize winning author, Geraldine Brooks. This was a wonderful historical fiction, and I don’t often read historical fiction. When I heard about it, I wasn’t dying to read it, but I will say, the book stuck with me after I finished it.
I’d love to know what you are reading. I’m always looking for great books.
EVENTS
I did a lot of events for The Stories We Cannot Tell! I was on the local news.
I had my big launch at Barnes & Noble in West Hollywood, where the wonderful actress Merrin Dungey interviewed me. I also did an event at Zibby’s Bookstore in Santa Monica, where the incomparable Julie Chan interviewed me.
